Vivo Y55S 5G launched in Taiwan
Vivo's new handset 'vivo y 55s (2023)' has been launched in Taiwan. It is an updated version of the same model that was introduced in 2021. It has introduced other changes in design and features. Vivo Y55S (2023) comes with a large IPS LCD screen.
The 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the Vivo Y55S (2023) is priced at NTD 7,990 (Rs 21,000). Meanwhile, the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs NTD 8,490 (Rs 22,700).8,490 (Rs. 22,700) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The phone comes in Galaxy Blue and Star Black color options. Vivo has not specified whether the new Vivo Y55S 5G (2023) will arrive in other markets including India.
Vivo Y55S (2023) runs Android 12 based FunTouch OS 12. It also has 5G SA/NSA features.6.58-inch full-HD+ display (2408 × 1080 pixels) has a 20:9 aspect ratio, 60Hz refresh rate and 90.6 percent screen-to-body ratio. The processor is a MediaTek Dimension 700 paired with up to 6GB of RAM.

The Vivo Y55S (2023) comes with a dual rear camera setup led by a 2-megapixel macro sensor with a lens.The selfie camera is of 8 megapixels with f/1.8 aperture lens. There is also 128GB of onboard storage which is expandable via microSD card slot. Key connectivity options include dual-SIM 5G and 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. There is also a sidemounted fingerprint sensor. The battery is 5,000 mAh with 18W charging capability.
